Itshouldbepointedoutthateducationmeetstwogroupsofgoals:

individualgoalsthatgivegoodandhappinesstoindividuals;

socialgoalsthatenablesocietytoprovideconditionsforoptimaldeve-
lopment,byshapingdesiredattitudesamongitscitizensandacquiring
appropriateprofessionalqualifications

Terightapproachtoeducationforsecurityistosaythateducationisthe
influenceexertedbygenerationsonthosewhoarenotyetreadytojoinsociallife.
Itspurposeistoawakenanddevelopinthechildcertainphysical,intellectualand
moralpropertiesthatarerequiredofhimbybothpoliticalsocietyasawholeand
thespecificenvironmentinwhichitwillexist

Educationforsafetyiscloselyrelatedtothepreparationofsocietyforappro-
priatebehaviorinanemergencysituation,itshouldbealong-term,continuous
processaimedatbothdeepeningknowledgeandgainingpracticalskills.Education
forsafetycanbecombinedwiththecultureofsecuritydescribedasthewholeof
individualandcollectiveattitudesandtheorientationtoavoidthreatstoparticipants
ofagivensystem,bothforinternalbeliefsandfordirectactions

Educationforsecurityshouldteachyouhowtolive;teachhowtolearnto
acquirenewknowledgethroughoutlife;learntothinkfreelyandcritically;toteach
theworldtoloveandtomakeitmorehuman;learnhowtodevelopyourselfin
creativeworkandthankstoit

Italsoseemsappropriatetounderstandeducationforsecurityasaculturally
andsociallymatureplatformandhumanreflectiononsecurity,themainconse-
quencesofwhichshouldbearealincreaseinpeople’ssenseofsecurityandgreater
abilitytoefectivelypreventthreats

formaleducation–institutionalized–takesplaceattheschooleduca-
tionstage,forwhichitisresponsibleatthebasicandsecondarylevelof
