1.1.INTRODUCTION
Asmoothfunctioningandachievingsuccessmostoftenmeasuredwithfinan-
cialresultsandthemarketshare;arebasicaimsofenterprises.Achievingthose
objectivesispossibleundertheconditionofapropermanagement.Bothinlitera-
ture,aswellasinpracticemanagementsarebeingdistinguisheddiverseconcep-
tions,methodsandtools,applicationofwhichinfluencesthequalityoffunctioning
ofbusinessentities.Onaccountofthehighchangeabilityandthestormynatureof
theenvironment;leadingmetaconcepts,whichrealizationisbeingundertakenby
moreandmorecompaniesareLeanManagementandAgileEnterprises.Their
applicationmanifestsitselfamongotherswithexploitingdeterminedmethodsof
management,inparticular:TotalQualityManagement,Benchmarking,Continuous
Improvement,Concurrentengineering,Supply-chainPartnering,JustinTime,Out-
sourcing,Team-BasedWorking,ManufacturingCells,TotalProductivityMainten-
ance,Empowerment,IntegratedComputerTechnology,BusinessProcessReengi-
neering,LearningCulture(Trzcieliński2001).
Presentedconceptionsandmanagementmethodsarebeingusedbyenterprises
indiversifiedscopes,simultaneouslytheyillustratecertainregularitiesinthecon-
textoftheco-occurrenceinbusinessentities.Theconceptconcerningmanagement
thatinaconsiderableextentappliessolutionsfrommodernmethodsofmanage-
mentistheTotalQualityManagement(TQM).Followingelementsareincludedin
it:Benchmarking(BEN)(Szkutnik2008),ContinuousImprovement(CI),Justin
Time(JiT)(Karaszewski2001).BothBENandTQMcharacteristicspointoutthe
implementationofchangeswithuseofthemethodofReengineering(BPR)(Ka-
