Abstract
Thepurposeofthisarticleistodescribethemeansoftranslatingthegrammaticaltensefutur
antérieurintheaccompliaspectfromFrenchintoPolish.Theaccompliaspectconstitutesatrait
whichischaracteristicforFrenchcompoundtenses,butabsentfromPolishinanyformwhichwould
indicatethecompletionoftheprocessandthestateresultingfromit.Theperfectiveaspectofthe
futuretensedoesnotallowtounderscoretheresultingstate,therefore,thetranslatortriestoexpress
itbyusingotherstructures.

1.Introduction
Auniveaumorphologique,lesystèmetemporeldufrançaissecaractérisepar
deuxsériesdeformesparallèles:formessimplesetformescomposées.Quelque
soitlemode,àchaqueformesimplecorresponduneformecomposée.Ainsiàl’in-
dicatif,cesontlespaires:présent1passécomposé,imparfait1plus-que-parfait,
futursimple1futurantérieur,passésimple1passéantérieur.Lesformessimples
présententlesprocèssousl’aspectinaccompli,c’est-à-direencoursdedéroulement
(Riegel,Pellat,Rioul,1994:292),sansprendreencomptelesbornesinitiale
etfinale(Gosselin,2005:36).Lesformescomposéesprésententlesprocèssous
l’aspectaccompli,c’est-à-direcommeantérieursàlapériodedontonparle,ensi-
gnalantenmêmetempsl’étatrésultantdecesprocèsdanslapériodeenquestion.
