Methodologyof“BusinessModelGeneration”focusesonfindinglinksbetween
the7keyareasofeverybusiness(bydefault,eachentity):(i)partners,(ii)re-
sources,(iii)processes,(iv)values,(v)relationships,(vi)distributionchannels,
and(vii)customers.Bydefiningandanalysisoftherelationshiponesearchesfor
theanswertothekeyquestion:whatisthecriterionforsuccessofthecompany
(organisation).Consequentlyexpandingthemostimportantareastheotherbe-
comesdependant,sothatthelevelofgeneralexpenditurewasoptimalfor
agivensituationonthemarket[Osterwalder,Pigneur,ed.,2010,p.46].
