inordertomeettheneedsofforeignentrepreneurslookingforinfor-
mationaboutPolishlegalregulationswhichareconnectedwithbusinesstrad-
ingpractice,weprovideyouwiththeoutcomeoftheworkonthetranslation
intoEnglishoftheActof15May2015,TheRestructuringLaw,whichentered
intoforceon1January2016.Thisinnovativeactwasenactedwiththeinten-
tionofsavingentrepreneurswhogothroughaneconomiccrisis.Accordingto
thisact,avoidingbankruptcyispossibleduetotheconclusionofanarrange-
mentwithcreditorsbythedebtor,precededby,ifnecessary,athoroughrepair
ofthedistressedbusiness“fromtheinside”
.inordertoimplementthe“second
chance”policy,whichispromotedbythisact,thePolishlegislatorhasintro-
ducednewinstrumentsofjudicialrestructuringthatareadaptedtothefi-
nancialsituationofaparticularbusiness.Dependingonthenatureandscale
oftheproblems,entrepreneurshavefourtypesofrestructuringproceedings
attheirdisposal:arrangementapprovalproceedings;acceleratedarrange-
mentproceedings;arrangementproceedingsandremedialproceedings.in
thenewlaw,restructuringproceedingshavebeenseparatedfrombankruptcy
proceedings,which,intheeventofconcurrentbankruptcyapplicationsand
restructuringapplications,mayonlybecarriedoutiftherestructuringfails.
Thenewlawisaimedatdebtorsbutitalsoprovidesadvantageoussolutions
tocreditors,givingthemrealinfluenceonthecourseofproceedingsand
therighttoinitiateremedialproceedings,whichinvolvefar-reachingrestruc-
turingofthebusinessusingelementsrelevanttobankruptcyproceedings.
Oneoftheproblemstranslatorsofthelanguageofthelawandle-
galjargonfaceistheincompatibilityoftheAnglo-Saxonlegalsystemswith
thecontinentallegalsystems,andtherefore,alackofequivalenceofterminol-
ogybetweenthesourceandthetargetlanguage.Otherdifficultiesintrans-
lationalsoarisefromthenecessitytomakeachoicebetweenaccuracyand
naturalness,aswellasfromthepresenceofcollocationscloselyassociated
