VeryrareinthePolishrotiferbibliographyarestudiesfocusingonembryolo-
gyandgeneticsofrotifers(PLASOTAandPLASOTA1980a,b).Theauthorsmentioned
followedtheembryonicdevelopmentofHabrotrocharosauptotheformationof
intestineandreproductivecells.Theyfoundthespeciestobecharacterisedby
spiralcleavageandepibolygastrulationmode,andisolated14chromosomesfrom
theoocytes.
