theplaceyouarestandingonisholyground.”3.6Moreoverhesaid,
“IamtheGodofyourfather,theGodofAbraham,theGodofIsaac,
andtheGodofJacob.”

3.7Yahwehsaid,“Ihavesurelyseentheafflictionofmypeoplewho
areinEgypt,andhaveheardtheircrybecauseoftheirtaskmasters,for
Iknowtheirsorrows.3.8Ihavecomedowntodeliverthemoutofthe
handoftheEgyptians,andtobringthemupoutofthatlandtoagood
andlargeland,toalandflowingwithmilkandhoney;totheplace
oftheCanaanite,theHittite,theAmorite,thePerizzite,theHivite,and
theJebusite.3.9Now,behold,thecryofthechildrenofIsraelhascome
tome.MoreoverIhaveseentheoppressionwithwhichtheEgyptians
oppressthem.3.10Comenowtherefore,andIwillsendyoutoPharaoh,
thatyoumaybringmypeople,thechildrenofIsrael,outofEgypt.”
3.11MosessaidtoGod,“WhoamI,thatIshouldgotoPharaoh,and
thatIshouldbringthechildrenofIsraeloutofEgypt?”
3.12Hesaid,“CertainlyIwillbewithyou.Thiswillbethetoken
