momentsandtoincludethemintheprocessofeducation.

thechildwantsittobe.Afable,achatwiththedog,catchingaball,anintense
studyofapicture,thecopyingofasingleletter-nothingisforachildawasteof
time.Aninstantisbutthedurationofasmileorasigh.Unintelligentlywedivide
yearsintolessormorematureones.Thereisnosuchthingaspresentimmatu-
rity,nohierarchyofage,nohigherorlowergradesofpainandjoy,hopesand
disappointments”4.

onhisfeelings,andonhisabilitytoconnecttosociety,toabsorbvaluesandgrow.
