offering,asYahwehcommandedMoses.40.30Hesetthebasinbetween
theTentofMeetingandthealtar,andputwatertherein,withwhich
towash.40.31Moses,Aaron,andhissonswashedtheirhandsandtheir
feetthere.40.32WhentheywentintotheTentofMeeting,andwhen
theycameneartothealtar,theywashed,asYahwehcommanded
Moses.40.33Heraisedupthecourtaroundthetabernacleandthealtar,
andsetupthescreenofthegateofthecourt.SoMosesfinishedthe
work.
40.34ThenthecloudcoveredtheTentofMeeting,andYahweh’sglory
filledthetabernacle.40.35Moseswasn’tabletoenterintotheTent
ofMeeting,becausethecloudstayedonit,andYahweh’sgloryfilled
thetabernacle.40.36Whenthecloudwastakenupfromoverthe
tabernacle,thechildrenofIsraelwentonward,throughoutalltheir
journeys;40.37butifthecloudwasn’ttakenup,thentheydidn’ttravel
untilthedaythatitwastakenup.40.38ForthecloudofYahwehwas
onthetabernaclebyday,andtherewasfireinthecloudbynight,
inthesightofallthehouseofIsrael,throughoutalltheirjourneys.
