skippedsomepartofwordsorlinesthere.Questionmark(?)indicatesthatthetextwas
notlegible.WhenbracketsareusedinthetransliterationofTibetantext,forexample:
s(r)dzogs,itmeansthatsdzogsiswritteninthetextinsteadofrdzogsormla(i.e.blama)
means,thatoriginallymlaiswritten(indbumedscript)forblama.
Severalissuesconcerningreferringtothesecataloguesneedtobeclarifiedhere.As
fortheTBRCelectroniccatalogue,firstwecheckedthetitleofeachtextandifitwas
foundweprovideditsserialnumberaswellasthevolumenumberattheend,afterthe
colophon.Whenitwasnotfoundbytitleandagivenauthorhadhiscollectedworks
specifiedinTBRC,weprovidedtheserialnumberofthosecollectedworks,aswewere
notauthorizedtoobtaindetailsoftheworksfoundintheTBRCcatalogue.Withthe
scannedcataloguesofShesbya)igtermdzod,Gsung)bumdkarchag,Rnyingma)igsung
)bumdkarchagandTheBibliographicalGuideofMongolianWritersinTibetanLan-
guageandtheMongolianTranslatorswewereabletocheckindetailallthecollected
worksandauthorsmentionedinthosetexts.Yetbecauseofthehugeamountoftextswe
didnotchecktheirtitlesinthesefourmentionedcatalogues.Sometimes,althoughthe
collectedworksofagivenauthorwerementionedintheabovecatalogues,wewereun-
abletofindaparticulartextlistedintheirregister.Thus,itmightbepossiblethatwithout
specifyingaparticulartextmaybeincludedunderabroadertitle,suchas“Thogyigkhag
