preparationprograminaState,asdataontheaggregatelearningoutcomes

Proposed612.2(d)—uTeacherevaluationmeasure”isdefinedas,bygradespan
andsubjectareaandconsistentwithstatewideguidelines,thepercentageof
newteachersratedateachperformancelevelunderanLEAteachereval-
uationsystemthatdińerentiatesteachersonaregularbasisusingatleast
threeperformancelevelsandmultiplevalidmeasuresindeterminingeach
teacher’sperformancelevel.Forpurposesofthisdefinition,multiplevalid
measuresofperformancelevelsmustinclude,asasignificantfactor,dataon
studentgrowthforallstudents(includingEnglishlanguagelearnersandstu-
dentswithdisabilities),andothermeasuresofprofessionalpractice(such
asobservationsbasedonrigorousteacherperformancestandardsorother
measureswhichmaybegatheredthroughmultipleformatsandsources,such
asteacherportfoliosandstudentandparentsurveys).
