scholarlydefinitionsandlegal(normative)definitionsoflabourlaw.

Initially,thelegaldoctrinedefinedlabourlawasasetofnormsdeterminingtheem-

ployeestatus(calledstatusdefinitions).Soonsuchdefinitionswereconsideredtoo

unarrow”andnotcorrespondingwiththescopeofthelabourlawasabranch.Atthat

time,definitionsoflabourlawasaseparatebranchofthelegalsystemoftheRepublic

ofPoland,governingemploymentrelationsandothersocialrelationsdirectlylinkedto

employmentrelations,becamemorepopular.
