intheindustrialsociety,normsofthelabourlawprotectalsoreasonableinterestsofem-

ployers(organisationalfunction).Theemploymentlegislationischaracterisedalsoby

strongtendenciestosettlementandconciliationtargetedatvariousformsofsocialdi-

alogue,therefore,theirenicfunctionoflabourlawcanbedistinguished.Inthemarket

economy,theprocessesofredistributionofgoodsandfinancialresourcesoccur,ow-

ingtothenormsoflabourlaw,henceonecanidentifyadditionallytheredistributive

function.

Theaboveselectionoflabourlawfunctionscarriessomeelementofsubjectivity.Tore-

ducethesubjectiveaspect,thisstudycoversallthebasicconstructsoflabourlaw,also

ofthecollectiveandprocedurallabourlaw.Withsuchmethodologicalassumption,it

waspossibletoselectthegeneralfunctionsbasedontheidealistictheoryofscience.

Beforetheanalysisofrespectivefunctionsoflabourlaw,itshouldbeemphasizedthat

onelegalnormmayfulfiltwo,orsometimesevenmore,functions.Suchaccumulation
